Should I be Suspicious?

My sons each pitched in a got me a Spa Weekend Getaway for Mother’s Day. The certificate is hand-printed on the back of an old AARP newsletter and the address is the same as Golden Years Retirement Home. Should I just enjoy this thoughtful gift from my 2 loving sons? I’m sure they went to a lot of trouble and expense for the perfect gift. They even offered to drop me off.

Has anyone ever heard or tried the Archimedes Bath Lift?

I noticed an article in AARP magazine , and it had a picture of an Archimedes Bath Lift-It looks interesting, as I have problems getting in and out of a tub- Yes, I like showers , but every now and then it’s nice to be able to have a nice relaxing bath-Because of a total knee replacement , it’s difficult to get up and down- I just wondered if anyone has had one of these, and I understand it’s price is very reasonable???? Thank-you

People who eat sweets live a year longer?

I read this in a AARP magazine in a doctors office. People who eat 1 1/2 oz of dark chocolate had better arterial blood flow and more elastic blood veins. Coffee has been shown to help protect against type 2 diabetes, colon cancer, parkinsons, and gall stones among others. And people who eat candy on the average live a year longer. WooooHoooo! In your face you health fanatics! What do you say now?
