America faces a health care crisis. How can Congress or the Senate much care if they have top notch health care coverage and the taxpayers pay for it?

Isn’t that the whole reason for paying for insurance? Shouldn’t all conditions, ailments, and injuries be covered? If not, then way are we paying into insurance?

Why isn’t their an insurance company out there that can provide this kind of service?

I don’t think the US Government should allow companies to operate that offer insurance and then deny benefits to someone who has been paying for coverage.
Ok just to add, this is not about me, but I work in the medical field and I hate seeing patients that die from not receiving treatments because their insurance companies denied benefits.

my friend is on her husband’s visa in the uae, but neither she nor her kid has medical insurance from her husband company. now she has started working and has got medical insurance for her self through her company, can she avail medical insurance for her kid through her company, being on husband’s visa?

Can you get reinbursted for insurance and medical bills?

When a person changes Medical Insurance, does the first and second insurance company have the right to give information about you to each other? Is it up to the state? How does the HEPA law fit in? I am beginning to believe that the primary concern of insurance companies is to get rich, even if it means their clients die or become homeless. Look at the victims in Missisippi and New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I know we need insurance but it is a nessasary evil. P.S buy insurance when you are age 18. It is SO much cheaper. The price seems to double every time you become 5 years older.

I am a seventeen-year-old girl who was kicked out of my house when I was 16. I have been living alone since then and am now six months away from turning 18. I am not emancipated because of the lengthy process and cost of an attorney. I recently came under the need of medical attention, but my single-parent mother withheld the Medicare in my name from me. Is this legal? Is there any way I can obtain my medical insurance?

My neighbor says she has direct deposit and her friends-they called bank-everyone is not receiving their checks. Last month-it was 1 day late-excuse: they all got lost at the post office. No one believes that. She says if they are going to be 1wk-2 wks late to notify them. More than a bit scary! I will depend on mine as part as my retirement. I wonder if AARP knows about this? They’d like all the ssi recipients to die-so they could steal the whole pot of social security-the govt has already robbed it. My neighbor, Phyllis, says the check is always deposited by the 23rd-now its the 28th. Interesting food for thought-not very tasty,though-if your left waiting 5 + days to buy food. She’s not, but many could be. And, how much did the inaugural procession cost? Hum…oh, that’s where the social security money went….or not?

I have become a victim of the advance fee fraud. I have sent money to Senegal after my bank cashed them, I have 4,500 in and sent it off to Senegal according to my email. This was supposedly a part-time job that had requested me to keep 10% as wages and send half to one guy and half to another guy in Senegal. Since the money gram was cashed I didn’t think anything of it and it never crossed my mind that they were fake until 3 days later I received a call from my bank saying they are no good. Now I called the bank and told them everything, how the Money grams came to me by UPS from North Carolina. They told that they cared only to have me pay the overdraft that is currently on my account after cashing the money grams. I called police but they said they can’t help. I did research at websites like toogoodtobetrue.com and aarp.org. They led me to secret service which i called but said they no longer do help out with scams. I am in debt and comtemplating suicide. Someone please help
My cry is nothing but a small one in this yahoo community. Furthermore, I am just one in many. While others may even consider me naive. Let me explain my story: I am an American born on in New Orleans, Louisiana. My mom came from Vietnam on boat, she is one of the boat people refugees from the war. I lived with my mom and my brother. My dad I never knew of, my mom eyes filled with tears can only speak of horrors. Being born in America meant opportunities. I grew lacking a childhood. In this country, I loss my childhood quick. I became an adult helping my mom. Mom work for very little, and my life nothing but humbling. I later worked to feed my brother and mom. I go to Louisiana State University…Geaux Tigers!! for school and work. Became a victim of Hurricane Katrina and later found out my mom has Type 2 diabetes. I’m struggling with school loans and this scam. It’s so easy to say the right things and be kind, but for me…. I’m losing… it.

A nonprofit organization where I worked is unhappy that I changed to a different agency and is making a noisy point of opening medical insurance documents that go to my old address. There is no possibility of a mistaken peek — my old supervisor encloses notes when he forwards the stuff. I’ve tried a personal warning but it’s clear they need to be spanked. Do I start complaints at the federal, state or local level, or all three? Which agencies?

I have a friend who’s 16 year old daughter was just diagnosed with arthritis. She has to receive very expensive shots to eleviate the inflimation in her joints. He would like to change jobs but is worried his new insurance would not cover her medical expenses because of the pre-existing condions protecting insurance companys from liability. Is that only true if he doesn’t have coverage for the 60 days prior to getting a new job or prior to getting the new health insurance……? He currently has a job and health insurance and would wait it out as long as he has to so he will have coverage.
