Is it OK to have just the health care program and not have the Health Insurance Plan? I can get Health care program for half the monthly premium as compared to the Health Insurance Plan. Please advise? Is it advisable?

I need to buy an antibiotic (azithromyacin), and I have the option to either back-pay COBRA insurance for $650 (i just took a new job), or pay for the prescription out of pocket. Any idea if this is EVEN possible, not using insurance, and how much it might cost?

The doctor can be in a clinic, doctor office or through emergency room in hospital. The matter is serious and I am unable to get back to my country for 3 months. The medical condition does not allow me to wait 3 months. Will any of the mentioned places provide medical treatment without insurance or give me a payment plan??

Somehow, after a series of unfortunate events, I was left out of my family’s insurance. So basically I have no medical insuranec whatsoever, but to get to the point:

I need to visit my doctor so I can get her to prescribe me anti-depressants, or maybe even just to have a check up so she can see how I’m doing and she can recommend what would be best for me.
