I need to go to the Doctor, but I don’t have medical insurance. Will the Doctor still see me?

I was laid off from a job that had excellent medical insurance. Now I am working for a temp agency that has bad medical coverage for a high price, and I now can’t afford to have medical taken out of my check anyway. This is my first time being without medical coverage. Now I need to go to the Dr, and I am wondering if they’ll even take me in without insurance…

    Emergency room has to see you whether you can pay or not but might send you to collections to get you to pay later. You could also go into a walk in free clinic but you should call first.
