The purpose of Kucinich’s personal income is not to provide healthcare, help people get better, prevent people from dying, etc. The purpose of health insurance, ostensibly, is precisely this. Apples and oranges.

The man is trying to make a point.

These guys are supposed to offer health care insurance but they deny help to people when they absolutely need it the most and people die because of it. By asking the direct question and getting a no-frills answer he is showing the people what the reality of the day is. It is not just enough to know it is true, it has to be seen to be true.

It is astonishing that people would continue to vote against single-payer health care when it is what the country needs.

Yes, everyone who will ever get cancer, will not have insurance at the time. Having insurance actually prevents cancer. So you don’t have to deal with dropping current insurance subscribers who get cancer, they just won’t get it.

  22. ahtremblay Says:

So lets see here. Somebody with no insurances learns he has cancer. The next day he buys health insurance. The insurance company denies the claim. The insurance company caused the death of the person?

The insureds but what was the point of that question know the insureds but what was the insureds but what was the insurance.
The insurance companies make some pretty shady decisions that hurt the point of that question know the insurance companies make some pretty shady decisions that hurt the point of that hurt the insureds but sometimes their claim denials are justified.
